I want to use an iphone to browse my data.

but the resolution is to small for displaying the week view. would it be possible to do a resizeable view wich would also fit small screens (when displayed on mobile screens)?

If you add a new field and configure it to the Attachment type, you can upload images to it.

Alternatively, you can also link directly to an image on the web using the Web link field type, and it will display images inline if configured to do so.

Hi Luke & Team,

Please consider allowing a user to upload a small picture(maybe limit size to specific value?). I am a reef aquarium hobbyist and have created a database to track corals I come across that I would like to purchase over time. Problem is right now I have to go back to the linked page to remind myself what it looks like. I am sure it would be great for any aquarium business people that might subscribe to your service.

Thanks,

Mel

It would be great if in the calendar view time the time of the event would be displayed too.

even better if you could define what would be displayed in those boxes.

ed

Make sure you save the view before exporting it again. Exports always reflect the view parameters as they were last saved. If you modify the filters, but don't save, the export won't match.

Dear Dabble DB Team,
I have created a report called Activity Report by Region in my churches category. The first report looked fine and exported to Excel fine. When I changed the parameters to another region, the report showed up fine on the screen, but would export the originally filtered information. How can I fix this without recreating the report every time? Thanks.

It is possible using a Link to entry field and what we call derived fields.

Essentially, you create a field in the second category that links to entries in the first category. Once you've done that, you can "derive" any data from that linked entry.

Hi there,

There's no "turning into" required -- when you click an entry, you can edit it in a form automatically. If you want to build a customized form, have a look at the Pages feature.

I have a similar need. I can see how the grouping creates the multiple rows desired. However, it does not seem to give me the information I want on an export.

The csv export does not seem to export the "header" fields that contained the grouped field information. If I add this field into the detail, as well as group on it, it shows up again as a concatenated list, showing up in both grouped rows.
i.e.
With this data:
Parent 1 -> student 1 -> teacher 1
                 -> student 2 -> teacher 2

Teacher 1
- Student 1
   - cols: Parent         Student,                             Teacher
               Parent 1     student 1, student 2        Teacher 1, Teacher 2
Teacher 2
- Student 2
   - cols: Parent         Student,                             Teacher
               Parent 1     student 1, student 2        Teacher 1, Teacher 2
