Locking a view ensures that it can only be modified by a database administrator. Normally, any user with access to make changes to an application can save changes to a view.
To lock a view, check the box beside Lock View while saving the view. (If you have already saved the view, simply click the title again to open the save box, check the box and then click the Save button.)
To unlock a view (to make it normal), open its save box by clicking the view’s title. Uncheck the appropriate box and click the Save button.
