Actions on a view

You can use actions to perform a task simultaneously on several Entries in a Table view. The actions menu is shown at the bottom of the view.

By default each action will apply to all of the entries in the view, including those on other pages (if your view has more than one page). However, if you use check boxes to select particular entries then the action will apply only to those entries that you have checked.

You can select all of the visible entries on one page by clicking the check box at the top of the left-most column.

To perform an action, select the one you want from the actions menu. (The text in the menu tells you whether you are acting on all entries in the view or only those checked, e.g. Delete all or Delete checked.)

There are several different actions; which ones are available will depend on what sort of data you are looking at.
