When you want to create a new table of data in Dabble DB, you add a category. During this process, you can copy and paste data from a spreadsheet or table, import from the web, or build the category from scratch. See Creating a new category.

There are several ways of adding Categories to your Applications.

One way is to click Add new category from the More menu on the category bar along the top of the screen.

You can also add categories while configuring existing ones.

Finally, you can add a new category and assign it to an entry by selecting New Category from the Also categorize as… drop-down menu while you are editing the entry.

Adding categories requires that you have build access in an application.
