The Dabble DB affiliate program helps you earn credit towards your paid account by encouraging new users to try Dabble DB. For each new paying subscriber that you refer, you will receive a credit equal to the amount of their first month’s payment.

Credit you earn is subtracted from your account balance before you are billed. If your credit exceeds your account balance, the credit will be rolled forward and applied to future charges until it is used up.

The affiliate program is available on private, paid accounts, but not on Dabble DB Commons accounts.

You can access the affiliate program from Administration; click the Affiliate Program tab.

The affiliate program page has two sections: an invitation box, and, if there is any activity to report, a table of recent referrals.

The invitations box contains a referral link which people you want to refer should click. (The link contains the name of your database so that Dabble can record that you referred someone.) Click the link to select it, and then copy and paste it to your email or to a web page.

Alternatively, Dabble can create an email on your behalf and send it to a list of recipients. If you wish to use this feature, type or paste email addresses into the appropriate box. Separate multiple email addresses with commas or put each on a separate line. If you wish, you can edit the message to be sent. Click Send invitation to send the email.

As long as the people you refer use the referral link, Dabble will record if and when each person signs up and, subsequently, if and when they subscribe to a paid plan.

If you have invited anyone to Dabble, the affiliate page shows you a summary of recent successful referrals, including the date the person signed up, and, if the person has subscribed, the date the subscription occurred, the plan chosen, and the amount of credit you earned.

Below the summary there is a link to the Affiliate tracker, a special application which shows you detailed statistics about your affiliate activity.
