Checkbox values

Checkbox fields let you show a binary value, such as yes/no, true/false or on/off. They are presented as a box that can be checked or unchecked.

The data is represented by text, using whatever values you like. (The default is “yes” for checked, and “no” for unchecked.) You can also choose to display checkbox fields with icons for simplicity.

Save and display values

Specify what text you want the system to store in the database when the field is checked or unchecked. The text will be shown beside the checkbox in the entry editor to indicate the current selection.

Default value

You can select whether new entries should have this field checked or unchecked by default.

Display icons when appropriate

In table views, you can choose to show checkbox field values with icons rather than text. For each entry, the appropriate icon will be shown in the checkbox field column. Select which pair of icons to use.
