You can copy an entire application to create a duplicate. This is useful if you want to maintain an archive of data as it existed at a certain point, or if you want to run an experiment on your data and keep a backup.

To create a duplicate, click the Copy link below the name of the application on the Application list.

The copied application will be a replica including all views and data. By default, any users that have access to the original application will have access to the copy as well.

Note that if your original application uses shared categories, the copy will also have shared categories. This means that such categories are not copied, but rather each copy of the application references the same shared categories and thus the data is still inter-linked.
