Customization - Pages
The Customization tab of the Pages editor lets you:
- Add text to the top of the page
- Add custom style sheet rules (CSS) (This feature is not available for Commons accounts.)
- Add a tracking code for Google Analytics
Add a message to appear at the top of the page
You can include a message above the view and/or form. The message can include formatted text including links. Use the Markdown syntax to add any formatting you need. (You can also type any HTML tags that can be produced through Markdown.) See Text formatting for more information.
Add custom CSS rules
Cascading Style Sheets is the language used to control the appearance of web pages. If you are familiar with CSS, you can add customized rules to your page to change its appearance in many ways. Simple examples include changing the background color of one or more components, altering the size of the text, or changing the width of form labels.
For more help with CSS (for those who know how to use it) please see our CSS Cheatsheet.
Google Analytics
If you use Google Analytics, you can add a tracking code to your page. Enter the “web property ID” that Google assigns to your site.
