Exclude matches in a filter

Normally, Filters in Dabble find entries that match a category or some specific text or a choice. However, you can also invert filters to find entries that do not match something.

Any value filter can be switched to exclude matches. Simply click the word “is” (or “includes”) to switch it to “is not” (or “does not include”).

Click the phrase again to return to including entries.

Hint: When filtering text or numeric values, you can write an exclude matches filter by writing the word “not” before the filter. For example, you can write “Task: not done” to match entries whose Task field is anything other than “done”.
