JSON export

The JSON export is a file containing the data in the view in JavaScript Object Notation, a lightweight data-interchange format. (Find out more about JSON.)

This is a format designed for programmers to use in tools built using a variety of programming languages outside Dabble. (It may also be useful for non-programmers if you have a finished tool which supports the JSON format.) Entries are declared in a collection of field name and field value pairs which together form an object or record.

Like all exports, the JSON export is generated dynamically and always contains current data.

If you have an external tool which relies on a JSON export, note that the application in Dabble must have Allow public access to exports enabled in the Sharing preferences.
