Scheduled imports
You can set up scheduled imports to automatically and repeatedly import data into your application from a web site or RSS feed. You can schedule an import to occur every hour, day, week or month.
To set up a schedule, you must first import data once from the particular web site. This way, Dabble will know the source URL and how you want to map the columns of data to the fields in your application.
Once you have imported data from a site, it will appear under Previous imports on the Imports page. Click Make schedule to set up a schedule.

Name
Type a name for the scheduled import in the Name box. This name will be used so that you can edit the settings later.
Updating
When each import occurs, you can choose whether you want to always create a new entry or update existing entries.
- If you choose to create new entries, then Dabble will only add new data to your application.
- If you choose to update, then existing data will be updated when the key field matches. Select a field in your data that you want to use for comparison. If the value of the field in an imported entry matches the value in an existing entry, then the existing entry will be updated with the new data. (For other entries where the key does not match, a new entry will be created.)
Schedule
Choose whether you want this import to occur every hour, day, week or month. The repeat imports will occur at approximately the same minute, hour or day as the first import.
