Set field value action

The Set field value action allows you to change a field value in several Entries in a Table view at once. This will result in those entries having the same value in that field.

The value you change must be for a field shared by all entries in the view.

  1. Select the entries you wish to edit by clicking the check box next to each one in a view. (Or, if you wish to change all entries according to the current Filters, leave all the check boxes unchecked.)
  2. Open the Actions… menu, and select Set field value for all, or if you have checked particular entries, Set field value for checked.
  3. From the pop-up window, select the field you want to change.
  4. If the field contains text or numbers, type the new value you want. For other types of fields, select a value from the possibilities shown. If the field is a List of entries, you may choose to add a particular entry to the list field, or to remove a particular entry from the list field.
  5. Click Apply to make the change.

If you make a mistake, you can use Undo to go back to the previous state.
