Set field value action
The Set field value action allows you to change a field value in several Entries in a Table view at once. This will result in those entries having the same value in that field.
The value you change must be for a field shared by all entries in the view.
- Select the entries you wish to edit by clicking the check box next to each one in a view. (Or, if you wish to change all entries according to the current Filters, leave all the check boxes unchecked.)
- Open the Actions… menu, and select Set field value for all, or if you have checked particular entries, Set field value for checked.
- From the pop-up window, select the field you want to change.
- If the field contains text or numbers, type the new value you want. For other types of fields, select a value from the possibilities shown. If the field is a List of entries, you may choose to add a particular entry to the list field, or to remove a particular entry from the list field.
- Click Apply to make the change.
If you make a mistake, you can use Undo to go back to the previous state.
